Having always watched his mother play hymns jazzed up on their family piano, Peter responded well to his own Piano lessons which he began aged 10. Throughout school his main pastime was learning new pop and rock music by ear on the school pianos. As his education proceeded, Peter realized that Music meant the most to him of any subject. He took A level Music and achieved an A grade and went on to study Music at the University of Sheffield in his late teens and early 20's.

He has played for Richard Corfield, Martin Clunes and HM The Queen.
